MedWet launched the #SpeakUpForWetlands campaign in the framework of World Wetlands Day 2025 and for the Ramsar COP14 to elevate the voices of people from across the Mediterranean and create a powerful collective message urging decision-makers to take action to protect wetlands.

Wetlands are at the heart of our ecosystems; they are vital to our common future, and we all share the responsibility to protect them.

Everyone’s voice can make a difference
The campaign targeted several audiences, including decision-makers, students, scientists, managers, activists, or simply anyone who cares about nature. All voices matter. A diverse group of people from different countries and backgrounds united to make their voices heard and drive change.
