Global Water Partnership – Mediterranean (GWP Med), is a regional not-for-profit action network, a multi-stakeholder platform that brings together competent organisations advocating, facilitating and supporting change processes for the sustainable and integrated management of water resources in the Mediterranean Region, including Southeastern Europe.

GWP Med is one the thirteen (13) Regional Water Partnerships of the Global Water Partnership, (GWP) intergovernmental organization, representing the Mediterranean region. . The contract will be established with MIO-ECSDE (Mediterranean Information Office for Environment Culture and Sustainable Development ) a civil non-profit society and  Host Institute and legal body representing GWP-Med.

The overall responsibility of the Programme Officer (PO) is to contribute to the development and the implementation of regional and country activities in the region in relation to the Strategic Goals of GWP-Med including partnerships development and reinforcement, knowledge management and networking activities. The PO will in particular contribute to the coordination and support of the implementation of Water, Climate and Development Programme in Africa, WACDEP activities in North Africa.
