The Mediterranean Wetlands Observatory (MWO), the technical and scientific group established by La Tour de Valat (France) to provide support to the Mediterranean Wetlands Initiative (MedWet), has published the study “Monitoring of recreational and educational services provided by Mediterranean wetlands”, including a Synthesis for decision-makers and managers.

This synthesis targeted to decision-makers and wetlands managers is extracted from the full report of the 2017 monitoring exercise, realized by Tour du Valat and IAM Montpellier between January and August 2018. It includes a number of key messages and a series of recommendations to increase the positive impacts on visitors to wetland sites.
