{"id":22232,"date":"2021-05-19T16:22:36","date_gmt":"2021-05-19T13:22:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/medwet.org\/?p=22232"},"modified":"2021-08-12T14:22:43","modified_gmt":"2021-08-12T11:22:43","slug":"wetlands-the-environmental-miracle-against-climate-change","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/medwet.org\/fr\/wetlands-the-environmental-miracle-against-climate-change\/","title":{"rendered":"Les zones humides, un miracle environnemental contre le changement climatique"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><br \/>\nCeci est une traduction de l&rsquo;article \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.efeverde.com\/noticias\/humedales-milagro-medioambiental-cambio-climatico\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Los humedales, el milagro medioambiental contra el cambio clim\u00e1tico<\/a>\u201d publi\u00e9 sur le site d&rsquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.efeverde.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">EFEverde<\/a> \u00e0 propos du projet Life Wetlands4Climate.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les zones humides, traditionnellement consid\u00e9r\u00e9es comme des friches et des zones insalubres, sont en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 pr\u00e9cieuses au plan environnemental pour les multiples services qu&rsquo;elles rendent, notamment la capture et le stockage du CO2 atmosph\u00e9rique.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L&rsquo;\u00e9tude et la valorisation de ces espaces sont l&rsquo;un des objectifs du projet<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Life Wetlands4Climate<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, qui vise \u00e0 promouvoir le r\u00f4le des zones humides en tant que puits de carbone et r\u00e9ducteurs de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre dans l&rsquo;atmosph\u00e8re.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ce projet, qui sera r\u00e9alis\u00e9 dans les zones humides de trois communaut\u00e9s autonomes espagnoles jusqu&rsquo;au 30 juin 2024, avec le soutien de la Commission europ\u00e9enne et la coordination de la Global Nature Foundation (FGN), repose sur l&rsquo;id\u00e9e que la bonne gestion des zones humides non seulement contribue \u00e0 la conservation de la biodiversit\u00e9, mais peut \u00e9galement aider \u00e0 lutter contre le changement climatique. Il identifiera les mesures de gestion les plus appropri\u00e9es pour chaque zone humide afin qu&rsquo;elles atteignent leur capacit\u00e9 maximale de stockage pour l&rsquo;att\u00e9nuation du changement climatique.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les travaux d&rsquo;\u00e9chantillonnage seront r\u00e9alis\u00e9s sur des parcelles pilotes situ\u00e9es dans dix zones humides de la Communaut\u00e9 de Valencia, Castilla y Le\u00f3n et Castilla-La Mancha. Pour cela, nous allons \u00e9tudier les principaux organismes qui manipulent cette mati\u00e8re et cette \u00e9nergie, qui sont les micro-organismes. Et nous allons \u00e9tudier cela avec des techniques <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">d&rsquo;\u00e9tude scientifiques <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">mol\u00e9culaires\u00a0\u00bb, souligne-t-il.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">troisi\u00e8me <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">groupe d&rsquo;indicateurs est celui des indicateurs classiques associ\u00e9s \u00e0 l&rsquo;estimation de la biodiversit\u00e9 et de l&rsquo;\u00e9tat \u00e9cologique. \u00ab\u00a0Un exemple est celui des oiseaux, qui sont un indicateur g\u00e9n\u00e9ralis\u00e9 dans les zones humides, mais aussi des indicateurs qui incluent le reste de la communaut\u00e9 biologique, \u00e9valuant leur r\u00f4le d&rsquo;indicateur fiable\u00a0\u00bb, remarque enfin M. Camacho. Avec les donn\u00e9es obtenues, \u00ab\u00a0nous travaillerons pour approuver une m\u00e9thodologie qui puisse \u00eatre \u00e9ligible aux fonds du march\u00e9 carbone volontaire, bas\u00e9e sur la conservation des zones humides, et ainsi pouvoir acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer les synergies entre la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 et le monde \u00e9conomique, en promouvant la transition vers une \u00e9conomie d\u00e9carbon\u00e9e\u00a0\u00bb, indique Vanesa S\u00e1nchez, membre du FGN et coordinatrice du projet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Le cadre de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dans un contexte o\u00f9 il reste peu de temps pour atteindre les objectifs mondiaux de r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions de carbone &#8211; au moins 45% d&rsquo;ici 2030 &#8211; et ainsi limiter le r\u00e9chauffement climatique \u00e0 moins de 2\u00b0C, les zones humides, selon les promoteurs du projet, constituent une solution naturelle suppl\u00e9mentaire pour la r\u00e9alisation de cet objectif vital.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ils assurent que les b\u00e9n\u00e9fices des zones humides sont ind\u00e9niables : du point de vue de la biodiversit\u00e9, elles constituent un patrimoine naturel extraordinaire, abritant plus de 100 000 esp\u00e8ces d&rsquo;eau douce r\u00e9pertori\u00e9es, un nombre en constante augmentation. Bien pr\u00e9serv\u00e9es, elles ne sont pas seulement des r\u00e9serves de biodiversit\u00e9, mais aussi une garantie d&rsquo;approvisionnement en eau et en alimentation, en plus d&rsquo;offrir une identit\u00e9 territoriale, une attraction touristique, des espaces pour la recherche, les loisirs et la d\u00e9tente.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cEn plus d&rsquo;\u00eatre des puits de carbone, les zones humides peuvent g\u00e9n\u00e9rer des avantages sociaux et \u00e9conomiques tr\u00e8s int\u00e9ressants pour la r\u00e9gion : elles peuvent g\u00e9n\u00e9rer des emplois, fournir des p\u00e2turages pour le b\u00e9tail et des terres pour les cultures, contribuer \u00e0 entretenir le climat de la r\u00e9gion et, bien s\u00fbr, elles sont des paysages pour le tourisme\u00a0\u00bb, r\u00e9v\u00e8le Amanda del R\u00edo, directrice technique de la <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Global Nature Foundation<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Travaux sur le terrain<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les travaux du projet ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 Palencia, dans la r\u00e9gion de Tierra de Campos, de Boada et de Nava de Fuentes. Cette derni\u00e8re est une lagune artificielle situ\u00e9e \u00e0 l&rsquo;endroit m\u00eame o\u00f9 se trouvait la Mar de Campos, qui \u00e9tait l&rsquo;une des zones humides les plus \u00e9tendues de la P\u00e9ninsule, jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 cinq mille hectares en ann\u00e9e de pluie, et qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 ass\u00e9ch\u00e9e au si\u00e8cle dernier, au cours des ann\u00e9es soixante.
