Cr\u00e9dit photo: \u00a9Arne Hodali\u010d<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La Saline n&rsquo;est pas seulement c\u00e9l\u00e8bre pour ses paysages salicoles dont la plupart ont \u00e9t\u00e9 fa\u00e7onn\u00e9s par la main de l&rsquo;homme mais aussi elle est extr\u00eamement importante en tant qu\u2019abri pour les esp\u00e8ces animales et v\u00e9g\u00e9tales rares ou end\u00e9miques. Elle est \u00e9galement compos\u00e9e d&rsquo;une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 extraordinaire d&rsquo;\u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes diff\u00e9rents qui d\u00e9clinent toutes les formes de transition entre l&rsquo;eau de mer, l&rsquo;eau saum\u00e2tre, l&rsquo;eau douce et les \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes terrestres.<\/p>\n<p>Les aspects culturels de la Saline se manifestent dans les pratiques traditionnelles de r\u00e9colte du sel. Ceux-ci sont mieux appr\u00e9ci\u00e9s en observant les artisans r\u00e9colter le sel. En outre, de nombreux \u00e9v\u00e9nements culturels connexes existent tels que \u00abLa f\u00eate des paludiers\u00bb et \u00abla f\u00eate des salins\u2013 St. George\u00bb. Cr\u00e9dit photo: The Museum of Salt-Making<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Les salins de Se\u010dovlje et de Strunjan constituent les rares salins encore actifs de la M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e o\u00f9 le sel est encore produit selon des m\u00e9thodes traditionnelles pr\u00e9serv\u00e9es et h\u00e9rit\u00e9es des g\u00e9n\u00e9rations pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes maintenues depuis plusieurs si\u00e8cles. De nos jours, la production de sel est principalement conserv\u00e9e pour pr\u00e9server le patrimoine naturel et culturel.<\/p>\n<p>Dans les salins slov\u00e8nes, le sel est toujours produit de mani\u00e8re enti\u00e8rement naturelle sur la \u00abpetola\u00bb. C\u2019est est une cro\u00fbte cr\u00e9\u00e9e artificiellement, d\u2019une \u00e9paisseur de 1\u00a0cm dans les bassins de cristallisation et constitu\u00e9e d&rsquo;algues vert-bleu, de gypse, d&rsquo;argile et de diff\u00e9rents min\u00e9raux. Elle fonctionne comme un filtre, emp\u00eachant le sel de se m\u00e9langer avec la boue du fond du bassin. Photo \u00a9 2002, Primo\u017e Pipan<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Le travail saisonnier \u00e0 Se\u010dovlje est la principale source de revenus des agriculteurs et des p\u00eacheurs qui partent t\u00f4t le matin pour travailler dans les salins. Portant leurs sandales taperini, les paludiers collectent le sel produit par \u00e9vaporation de l&rsquo;eau de mer dans les bassins de cristallisation. Ils rassemblent ce sel en grands tas en utilisant un grattoir en bois traditionnel appel\u00e9 \u00abgavera\u00bb.
