Ce syst\u00e8me constitue l\u2019une des institutions les plus anciennes et les plus efficaces alliant la conservation des ressources naturelles au bien-\u00eatre des communaut\u00e9s locales.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.spnl.org\/french\/\" target=\"_blank\">La Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 pour la Protection de la Nature au Liban<\/a> (SPNL), partenaire libanais de BirdLife International, l\u2019a r\u00e9introduit et adapt\u00e9 aux nouvelles r\u00e9alit\u00e9s politiques et socio-\u00e9conomiques afin de r\u00e9pondre aux besoins changeants des communaut\u00e9s locales et aux exigences des \u00e9tats modernes, comme la d\u00e9centralisation, l\u2019\u00e9mancipation des femmes, la sensibilisation des jeunes aux probl\u00e8mes de l\u2019environnement et \u00e0 la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de sa sauvegarde. A ce jour il existe 15 Himas d\u00e9clar\u00e9es au Liban.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/medwet.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Hima-publication.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-10592 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/medwet.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Hima-publication-221x300.jpg\" alt=\"Hima publication\" width=\"221\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/medwet.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Hima-publication-221x300.jpg 221w, https:\/\/medwet.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Hima-publication.jpg 434w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 221px) 100vw, 221px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>MedWet a soutenu cette initiative lors d\u2019un <a href=\"https:\/\/medwet.org\/2011\/03\/atelier-regional-sur-lapproche-hybride-hima\/\" target=\"_blank\">congr\u00e8s organis\u00e9 \u00e0 Istanbul en 2011<\/a>. Apr\u00e8s sa collaboration avec la SPNL lors du projet <a href=\"https:\/\/medwet.org\/2010\/03\/twinmed\/\" target=\"_blank\">Twinmed<\/a>, Medwet s\u2019est int\u00e9ress\u00e9 par ce concept hybride de Hima qui combine culture, tradition et protection de l\u2019environnement, et osuhaite diss\u00e9miner ce concept comme un outil de gestion des zones humides alternatif.<\/p>\n<p>La SPNL, membre du <a href=\"http:\/\/www.medconsortium.org\/\">Consortium M\u00e9diterran\u00e9en pour la Nature et la Culture<\/a> soutenu et financ\u00e9 par la Fondation MAVA, a favoris\u00e9, gr\u00e2ce au soutien de la LPO, la venue de l\u2019exposition internationale de photographies \u201cSur leur traces\u201d (On the Move). Apr\u00e8s son succ\u00e8s \u00e0 Tunis et \u00e0 Paris en juillet et en septembre dernier, cette exposition itin\u00e9rante sur le th\u00e8me de la transhumance et de la sauvegarde de la biodiversit\u00e9 en M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e se produira \u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve en octobre, \u00e0 Beyrouth en d\u00e9cembre puis \u00e0 Madrid, Istanbul et Ath\u00e8nes. En collaboration avec DiversEarth et WWF Tunisie, les pays participants exposent 60 photographies professionnelles, dont celles du libanais Monsieur Asaad Saleh qui a accompagn\u00e9 les bergers dans leurs d\u00e9placements, avec la contribution de la SPNL. Ses photographies refl\u00e8tent et encouragent la protection de la pratique de la transhumance li\u00e9e au d\u00e9veloppement local, \u00e0 la protection de la biodiversit\u00e9 et \u00e0 la promotion de l\u2019\u00e9cotourisme au Liban.<\/p>\n<p>Le Consortium M\u00e9diterran\u00e9en pour la Nature et la Culture regroupe les ONG nationales et internationales : Asociaci\u00f3n Trashumancia y Naturaleza (Espagne), DiversEarth (Suisse), Do\u011fa Derne\u011fi (Turquie), Med-INA (Gr\u00e8ce), la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 pour la Protection de la Nature au Liban (SPNL), le WWF (Tunisie) et re\u00e7oit le soutien consultatif de l\u2019UICN et de Fauna &#038; Flora International (FFI). Ces ONG ont uni leurs forces pour entreprendre un projet d\u2019\u00e9valuation et de soutien des pratiques de conservation culturelle dans le bassin m\u00e9diterran\u00e9en.
