- Brief description: The project aims to provide Mediterranean countries with an integrated strategy to conserve and manage their unique coastal biodiversity, promoting the use of aquaculture and capture fishery as a base for habitat restoration, climate change mitigation, and the improvement of local communities’ welfare. The project also promotes the sharing of development experiences on coastal areas, providing high opportunities for countries partnerships in order to exchange information, main-taining a common database on the status of their coastal wetlands and lagoons, and facilitate decision making processes.
