The MedFund provides financial support through grants to management and co-management structures of Mediterranean MPAs in order to sustainably contribute to covering the recurrent management costs of these protected areas.

Priority intervention countries are as follows:
Albania, Algeria, Croatia, Greece, Lebanon, Morocco, Montenegro, Tunisia, and Türkiye.

This call for expressions of interest is organized in two phases:
Phase 1: Expression of interest, until 15 May 2025
Phase 2: Preparation and submission of the application, by 13 July 2025 (midnight CET)
