Ministers participating in the Meeting discussed and reached agreement o­n two main areas: i) a set of guidelines of a Strategy for Water in the Mediterranean, that address the issue of climate change aiming to address challenges at a regional level in the Mediterranean ii) to support a series of projects for new infrastructure in the domain of water to assist the implementation of the Strategy. A series of proposed projects will be presented and discussed at the Fifth World Forum o­n Water to be held in Istanbul, Turkey  in March 2009.
