Organised by the United Nations University International Leadership Institute (UNU-ILI) to take place in Amman, Jordam 11-14 December, this course will help to address the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regional water crisis by improving the leadership for water management in the region. It will address the critical elements of leadership for Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM), by providing an overview of IWRM tailored for drylands environments, an exploration of the governance and leadership challenges specific to water, and presentations of best leadership practices based o­n examples from the region.
